Our Chosen Charity

For each of our Events since 2015 we have chosen one or two Charities to benefit from the funds raised during the evening. So far we have donated to Alzheimer Scotland, Dementia UK, Alzheimer’s Research UK and Alzheimer’s Society. In total, just under £6,000.

For our next event in Wetheringsett-cum-Brockford, Suffolk, we have a chosen a smaller, local organisation and will be supporting The Debenham Project. The aim of the project is to support carers and those living with dementia in Debenham and surrounding villages. They are a registered Charity (Number 1133501) which started out in 2009 and has become recognised as an example of innovation and best practice across Suffolk and beyond.

The money raised during the evening, from ticket sales, raffles and other surprises, as well as our Just Giving page will be handed over to The Debenham Project just as soon after the event as possible.

Our Entertainment!

Entertainment Announcement Poster

Great to say we have our evening’s entertainment sorted out now, we have secured the services of Harry Isaac Presley and the HIP Operation.

These guys will be with us all evening, giving their very best performances and making the event such a special one, we really can’t wait!

We will be chatting to them in the early new year to try and prise some more details out of them as to quite what their show will all be about.

One thing’s for sure though … they will really get us all shook up!

In Public for the First Time!

Tickets Now Available!

Since moving to Cornwall, we have been looking at ways to make life easier and allow more time for things we enjoy (highly recommended, if you are able to do this!). With this in mind we have teamed up with the Cornish Riviera Box Office who will be handling our ticket sales for Memory Fest – Cornwall.

So, it is all set up for you to book your Tickets online and either download them or request that they are sent out in the post (this will cost an extra £1 for the admin involved).

We hope ticket sales are going to go very well, remember it is a Live Music event sponsored by Penlee Residential Care Home, with Broken Down playing at The Lugger Inn in Penzance on 16 May 2020 to raise much needed awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s Society – there will be lots of fun and laughter to be had by One and All, and all held together by Gray Lightfoot!

Our Compère

Gray Lightfoot

Gray LightfootAfter months of negotiations (well, a couple of brief chats, to be honest) we have persuaded Gray to be our Compère for the evening and try to keep us all under control and on track.

Gray …. dreamer…writer…poet…bus driver

We are looking forward to working with him and, who knows, we may even be able to cajole him into performing a couple of his brilliant poems!

Which is your favourite?
