
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the cancellation of MemoryFest, originally scheduled for 2nd May.
While we were excited to bring this event to Wetheringsett, it requires a minimum level of community participation to be financially and operationally viable. Unfortunately, ticket sales have not met the threshold required to move forward.
As a result, all current ticket holders have received a full refund.
We love our village and believe in the power of local events, but we have to be realistic. Organizing events like this involves significant financial risk and many hours behind the scenes.
Put simply: Local events rely entirely on local support. If we want a vibrant community calendar filled with live music and shared memories, we have to show up for one another.
Without a clear indication of interest through early ticket support, we simply cannot commit to hosting similar events in the future.
We hope this is just a “see you later” and not a “goodbye.” We want to keep making things happen for this village, but we need to know you’re with us.
